Sharing this information update:
COVID-19 and BEDFORD WHO CHARITY CON

As you know, the convention's been rescheduled from last month to Saturday 17th October. We've had a number of enquiries about how the current crisis will affect the con.

Well, we're working on the assumption that the convention will go ahead.

It's still five months away; a lot can happen in five months and we're being optimistic. We just don't know how the outbreak will be looking by mid-October; let's assume things will be much better.

Rest assured that we'll only go ahead if it's legal and safe to do so. For now, we're assuming it will be.

The normal slot for Bedford Who Charity Cons is April, so there will be one in April 2021. If we have to pull this October's one, I'm afraid we'd have to cancel rather than reschedule it. With the best will in the world, the prep for cons is very time consuming; if we had to work on two in a period of sixth months or less, we'd be spreading the workload too thinly and both would suffer as a result. It'd be best to wait and have the one convention next year, when we can be sure it'd be up to our usual standard.

If we have to do this, you'd be offered a refund on your tickets, or be able to carry them forward to next April.

But let's assume all will be well by October! We'll only cancel if we absolutely have to; for now, we're assuming everything will go ahead: Bedford Who Charity Con 6 in October, and BWCC 7 in April.

In the meantime, keep well -- and we'll look forward to seeing you in October!
